Blaenau Gwent Food Partnership

Blaenau Gwent Food Partnership was established in May 2021 with the aim to set in motion an ambitious strategy that addresses the challenges and opportunities within Blaenau Gwent’s food system.  The Partnership plays a pivotal role in coordinating local action on issues such as food access, the environment and the development of a ‘Good Food Movement’.

With a Partnership Board that includes Tai Calon Housing Association, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, Gwent Association of Voluntary Organisations, Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Natural Resources Wales and Aneurin Leisure Trust. We’re a partnership working together to build a local food system that is healthy, affordable, resilient and fair.

The Partnership recognises the huge value of community engagement and action. People of all ages from across the borough are supported to become food citizens and develop positive food activities in their community.
