Tickets Now on Sale and Programme Announced for 2025 Wales Real Food and Farming Conference

Tickets are now available for the Wales Real Food and Farming Conference (WRFFC), taking place from 18–20 November 2025 at Bridgend College’s Pencoed Campus in South Wales.

On World Food Day, WRFFC is proud to unveil this year’s programme. For the first time, the conference is being hosted in collaboration with Food Sense Wales, combining two key annual gatherings: the WRFFC and the Food in Communities event. This partnership is reflected in the 2025 theme: Communities, Food and Farming: Working Together.

The conference will officially open on Tuesday 18 November with a keynote address by Deputy First Minister and Cabinet Secretary for Climate Change and Rural Affairs, Huw Irranca-Davies, with further remarks on Wednesday 19 November from The Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, Derek Walker.

Now in its seventh year, WRFFC has established itself as an independent platform for exploring the future of sustainable food and farming in Wales. The event brings together a broad range of voices — from farmers, food producers, and public health professionals, to educators, environmentalists, and community advocates — to share ideas, inspire action, and build a more resilient and just food system.

The programme has been shaped by an open call for session proposals and includes a diverse mix of panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions covering topics such as regenerative retail, supporting and enabling new entrants into sustainable farming, weatherproof farming, building communities within food and farming sectors, responding to the new tech revolution as a movement and shaping the future food system.

On Thursday 20 November, attendees will have the opportunity to take part in farm visits, organised by Farming Connect Horticulture. The visits include tours of Slade Farm, Coed Organic, and Forage Farm, and can be booked directly via Farming Connect Horticulture.
